The Chinese Character Decomposition Helping Hand [Feb. 19th, 2017|08:44 am]

What is the Chinese character decomposition guidance? It is a top-down chart splitting a character into smaller, meaningful components.

The components, in their turn, are broken into separate radicals with tones and meanings.

Such decomposition is very helpful to the Chinese language learners to memorize and remember the Chinese characters.

It also gives a better idea of the Chinese language at large.

Decomposition of the Chinese Character 安 ān ‘quiet’

冖 mì cover
女 nǚ woman
丿 piě slash

Do international students have to take at least two years of a foreign language to qualify for undergraduate admission?

 Is this community still alive?

I have football (and basketball) student season tickets. Aren't they supposed to be sending us an email about when to get our # to pick the UCLA/USC tickets up?

I'm not sure if I'm going to give mine to a friend or just sell it. I went to the game two years ago, and that was enough.
